Why is the Sunderland v Saints game delayed until next week?
Chelsea deserved their win even though they were gifted another goal, a good match for the neutrals, even Josie Maureen Ho was restrained and dignified at the end.

So the Spuds got lucky again, needing penalties (8-7) to beat Hull and they did indeed get a London derby, but not Chelsea.

Draw for the QF's:

Leicester v Manchester City

Stoke v Manchester United

Sunderland/Southampton v Chelsea

Tottenham v West Ham

What odds would you get for it not being an all Mancunian Final?

1st leg:

Sunderland 2-1 Manchester United
Manchester City 6 - 0 West Ham

West Ham might as well concede now and save the hassle of a 2nd leg. The scoreline could easily have been doubled.

That's 0-11 in West Ham's last two games.

United have lost 4 out of their last 6 home matches  so Sunderland should be quietly confident about making it to Wembley.
I wonder if "Big Sam" will be in charge of West Ham for the second leg ?

And to think he rested his senior players in the 5 nil loss to Nottingham Forest to concentrate on this match. Good thinking.

Well the last couple of minutes of extra time were  & then we possibly witnessed the worst penalty shoot out in history, which though, was highly entertaining
