Whats up with the breakfast scene here? Any suggestions?

Restaurants, food, beverage, hawkers, and local markets and suppliers. This is the place for discussion on Hua Hin's culinary options.

As Richard said, it depends where ya located.

I've had three 'Zab Wer' breakfasts during my xmas holidays here but it's a bit out of town (a fair way up soi 112). Always a good breakfast there. The owners a nice chap also.

Will never try Lynns again after my first try with them. Every place has a bad day sure..but if they thought that that was an acceptable breakfast to put in 2 take away boxes for me and my friend (who was on visit from the UK), then my middle finger goes up and my feet never come back. I mean... you can get it wrong and you can get it really wrong. Completely inedible and insulting that they thought we'd be OK with it.

El Murphy's is always a good bet too. They also do a great gammon and eggs.

If ya have transport... always Zab Wer. Nice and quiet. Fast service. Nice guy serving you. Can chop and change things you want or don't want in your breakfast for no extra charge. Wi Fi. Parking. Kid's play area...

Anywho... the only real reason I'm posting is 'cause a Spurs player had recently just handed Arsenal the game on a plate so... something to take my mind off the game for a moment. :D

LOL went to Morning Bread on soi 94 for breaky the other day. I decided to try their eggs Benedict since hhfarang mentioned it in his post. The menu showed a photo of the EB but when I received it it was on a regular bun instead of an English muffin like the photo in the menu. Since my wife and I are regulars I suggested to my wife she mention to the owner that the photo shows an English muffin which is the normal base used in EB. Well the owner got pissy with my wife claiming the EB is her own invention, she never copied it and no foreigners have ever complained about not using an English muffin base.

Honestly I find it hard to believe nobody would complain about not getting an English muffin as that and the Hollandaise sauce is what makes them so good.

Hey HHCanuck, good to read your post. I used to get spoiled by eating a lot of breakfasts at Gifs
Kitchen on soi 94, but they have closed now, and I think they have moved from Hua Hin.
There was another small café on soi 90 I think it was, and I had a few good meals there too.
it is next to a bar with a good pool table, and may have a German name.
I hope to find more good places to eat on my next visit

Thanks for the report HHCanuck. I'll give it a miss then. If anyone knows a place that serves good authentic eggs Benedict please report. The only place I've had it in Thailand was at Bourbon Street in Bangkok and it was delicious and authentic.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

I am sensitive to wheat and the buckwheat crepe at Mirabelle hits the spot every time. I have found it hard to be honest to find a place that uses quality ingredients in their food and can give you exactly the same thing every time you eat there. They may not give you the biggest serving but still decent and value for money they are great if you are worried about what you are putting in your mouth rather than how much.
