There us a report in a Thailand English Language Newspaper today that 5 women were arrested in Hua Hun for drugging and robbing foreign tourists. The women offered the tourist massage services, then drugged and robbed them

This is rather common in Pattaya and the katoeys are good at it with customers from Middle-east and India...
Let's hope Hua Hin will not go the same way as Pattaya !

What is missing is that these women are not local, they're from the North East.

Not trying to point anything out here to hurt anyone or start a fight I know many good people from these areas but the word is that the locals are starting to get fed up with the bs that comes from those from other areas. They do not like it in 'their' Hua Hin...with all the political 'going ons' at the moment I hope there is not blow back from these things happening here.

I think you gonna be very disapointed with the service, number of resteurant,infrastrcture ect.
if we have to only be serviced by the "local" .

I've noticed that the virtuous citizens of Hua Hin don't bat an eyelid when they attempt to sell you a piece of wasteland halfway to Burma for about three million baht a rai!

Five women and one man have been arrested and charged in the drugging and robbing foreign tourist by the police in Hua-Hin.

Pol.Maj.Gen.Thanes Sunthornsuk, Prachuap Khiri Khan police commander Pol.Col. Damrongsak Thong-ngarmtrakul, the Superintendent of Hua Hin police station and Deputy Superintendent Pol.Lt.Col. Somsak Nuaeng-Aon ,Pol.Lt.Col. Prasit Phetsri Investigation Inspector and Investigation Team of Hua-Hin Police Station showed the press 6 gang members detained, and charged in the drugging and robbing.

According to initial report from police and the victims , the suspect may have been a well-dressed approached to their target after being a friend the staff to be vigilant of criminals mixing the substance with water and tricking unsuspecting victims whom they had be friend to drink it.

After the victims lost their consciousness, the robbers would reportedly remove valuable belongings and slip away.

The identified the drug as a substance called ‘Alfazolam , which has no colour and nor smell...
