Black & White restaurant

Had pasta, a fresh Ciabatta with roast chicken, cheddar cheese etc and salad and B and W, all very good.
Bistro still has to rate riht up there, problem for teh fine dining places is that some people who go there only want to criticize!

There is nothing wrong with the restaurant and food, but comparing it with the two to three thousand other restaurants in the Hua Hin area I would rate it closer to 1000 than 1. I went there for lunch and the menu is fairly limited (again compared to other places in Hua Hin), service was just ok timing and attention wise, and they gave me a different dish than what I ordered. considering we were the only table there, this alone is unforgivable in my opinion. Since the substitute dish looked interesting, I ate it and didn't point out the mistake; though I should have as I was pretty unhappy with the dish I ended up with after I had started eating it, but then felt it was too late to complain.

In my humble opinion, it is just barely ok and there are much better choices in Hua Hin for variety, quality, and price. I probably won't go back. The reviews on the other site that made it number 1 were obviously from tourists who don't stray far from that 1 square kilometer area in front of the Hilton (although even in that area I would say there are at least 20 better restaurants in the same price range).

Edit: I just noticed that it has already dropped from 1 one to number 89 with only 9 more reviews on that other site. I suspect they are all from readers of this forum that tried it because of this thread as I did.
