Ban on goods with Thai national flag

Post by Chromeman »

I see on this page that bringing into Thailand goods with Thai national flag on is prohibited. How strict are they on this?

I recently got myself a pin that has the Norwegian and Thai flag on it, so wondering if I could get some problems in Customs if I have it on when I arrive?

I don't think that would be a problem.
In case they ask, tell them it commemorates friendship between Norwegian and Thai people.

I think you'll find that the law you mentioned refers more to a Thai flag being used in a way that indicates something has been made or comes from Thailand in fact it isn't/wasn't.
