Where`s Big Boy

Post by Nereus »

Anybody know if that red coloured Ford Ranger without any wheels on it, parked under a tree at the airport, belongs to Big Boy? :rasta:

There are two parking lots at Don Muang, terminal 2 and terminal 3. Terminal 2 is always crowded and has a charge (forgot how much). Terminal 3 is no longer used so you can park in that car park for as long as you want for free but then there's a bit of a walk to check in and back to the car. We left ours there for several days and no problem, no charge.

Sorry guys, I opted to fly from Hua Hin - excellent service if it suits the rest of your plans. Not expensive either. Had a limo pick me up on the homeward journey - 5 hours :cuss:

As for a blue nose, I don't remember ever being so cold for so long - Vietnam was truly brass monkeys. Don't worry, I'm sat at home thawing out nicely now.

Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed it, and even the extreme cold weather became bearable in the end (I don't think I could move back to the UK now).

I'm not normally a fan of capital cities, but Hanoi had a strange romantic attraction with it's very narrow streets and incredible traffic. I was fascinated throughout. Halong Bay, even covered in mist should be on everybody's bucket list. Life on the little junk was incredible with 'I don't know how many' courses of food at each mealtime. Quite funny actually, with my significantly reduced stomach capacity, I was taking like just one bite from each course.

I loved it.

I took a couple of photos - over 500  . I will share some of them at some stage, when I'm out of 'holiday mode'.

With all the travel Big Boy is doing this could turn into a daily "Where's Waldo" thread.
