I looked about 18 months ago and couldn't find any so brought a supply from the UK, I hope somebody can suggest where to get them locally.

If you can't find them vinegar works good on scale

Villa Market has them but they are expensive far better to get someone to bring them over if you can or as Migrant say vinegar is good.

This made me curious so I did some googling and although vinegar comes up well as a descaler, some people claim that even after flushing it can leave an after taste. An effective alternative is citric acid, although how easy this is to buy in Thailand I don't know.

Would sterident work for the kettle? I use in the toilet cistern to descale and seems to work well. I brought some descaling tabs from the UK from the washing machine, but as the water is not heated, I'm not sure if you need to use them?

Is it an urban myth that coca-cola will work as well?
