looking for a metallurgy company

Post by machiel »

Hello,

i'm living for 4 years in Hua Hin now, and I like to find a small company here, who can do different work in the field of metallurgy work pcs and small series. Like milling, sawing, drilling, welding who has a lathe etc.
(excuses for my english; I'm from the Netherlands)
Best if they speak a little english
Thank you if you can help me to find.

Between Soi 6 and Soi 4, in a set of shophouse just past the Toyota dealer, there is a machine shop that does "jobbing" work. They have a lathe, a welder and I think, a milling machine. No English, but they are used to working off drawings. This workshop would have to be the cleanest, and best organised, I have seen in Thailand. :thumb:

Machiel, did you go look at the machine shop?

I'm looking to modify a set of vice-grips as per the photo below. Hoping a H.H. machine shop could do the job for me. Any advice/recommendations?
GN.

There is another welding shop on Naebkhehars Rd, just past the old libary, north of Chomsin, city map C3.
He speaks some English and does a lot of work for the fishing fleet. Not sure how you will go welding those vice-grips as they are alloy and also hardened. Probably need a TIG welder, but as he does some odd jobs he may know what the material is.
