Car rental fully insured

Post by dalmatiandave »

I have read a few websites that offer car rental but all seem to expect an excess with no option to pay to get full cover. When in Pattaya I paid an addition to have first class insurance with no excess and therefore, for me, no stresses. Does anybody know of such a firm in Hua Hin. I am sure Avis offer that as well as maybe Budget but what about some of the local firms. When I leave the forecourt I want to know that I am fully covered with no excesses.

Any thoughts/info would be appreciated.

Thanks guys, I do know where Soi 80 is (sad but true) so I will give that one a go. I don't mind paying extra for 1st class insurance, I just don't want to be lumbered with an excess should somebody drive into my rental car.

I recently rented a vehicle from the sponsors of this web site as I like to support local businesses.
The arrangements were first class, the vehicle was spotless, it came full of fuel and when i returned the vehicle I was refunded my 5000thb promptly.
I will definitely use these guys again next trip, Dee Mak mak. :thumb:

Once again I rented a vehicle from the board sponsors and took a trip down the coast to Bang Saphan.
The service from the hire company was spot on, the vehicle was excellent, the rates unbeatable and I will use this company again when I next come to Hua Hin.

ps: I am nothing to do with the company in any way.

Is there a reason not to rent at Suwanabum Airport? I browsed some prices, looks like 20 K for a month at the low - end. Are the prices better in HH?

Frank, wherever you hire, please make sure the insurance covers hiring of vehicles. There are many cheap car hire companies out there, but not all offer the correct insurance cover. Nobody plans to have an accident, but if you do ........................

The latest I heard was that the forum sposor did offer the correct insurance cover.

I have to agree with Gus.
I always use them and they give a friendly, polite and professional service.
Like Gus, I have nothing to do with the company either.
