The West Ham vs Liverpool game looked to be full of incident - I've only read the reports so far but will watch the highlights on MOTD later today. Still a few twists and turns before we can predict the eventual Champions with key games including Liverpool against City next week and City away to Everton who are looking to clinch fourth spot. Even the relegation battle has been thrown open with Fulham winning, so still about six teams at risk.

Strange to decision to sack Hughton with just 5 games to go.If they wanted to get rid you would have thought they would have done it with at least a dozen games left ?

IMO the West Goal should have been cancelled by the referee due to obstructing the goal keeper.

A good... Solid performance from Everton yesterday..... And deservedly took the 3 points....

I think that for the most part..... For the 17 or so seasons that he has been with the Gunners...... AW has done a remarkable job....... However......

I read media reports over the past couple of weeks..... That basically alleged that AW..... Claimed that he was still learning his trade..... Which if true...... Is a rather strange statement.....

For all the Gooners out there.....

If the media reports are accurate.....

1...... Is AW losing the plot ?

2...... Is it time for AW to go ?

Not advocating the man getting sacked.... But time stands still for no man......

What I think should be done urgently in the Arsenal camp is to investigate whether the training system is to be blamed for the huge amount of injuries that we have every season. That, along with the fact that there is no plan B to our tactics. With the absence of Walcott, Ramsey, Wilshere and Özil we should not and cannot use the same tactics as with them.

True, but neither should Liverpool have been awarded a 2nd penalty. The reffing yesterday was just another bad day on what has been a particularly poor season for the referees. Maybe a change is needed at the top?

As for Arsenal, I was thinking about the injury thing yesterday and they do seem to suffer, so it does seem wise to review if anything could be changed to improve things? United had a similar problem a few years back and re-laid their training ground.

I think City are still favourites for the title, followed by Liverpool then Chelsea. Although Liverpool seem to be reliant on penalties at the moment! This Sunday, Liverpool play City followed by Chelsea v Swansea and it will be interesting to see what the table looks like after those two games!

There's also the FA cup semi's this weekend.

Agree with the first part.
The second statement is cuckoo material.
What it should read is that he hasn't learned from his mistakes.
He continues to send out the same team with the same predictable formation despite it obviously being flawed
After the transitional period moving to the Emirates (which was accepted by the supporters), the past 3/4 seasons have been like groundhog day.

The failure to strengthen enough pre season & in January is all down to Wenger & his deluded, stubborn & outdated vision.

Lost the plot & yes, time for a new approach for the club.

The rumours are he's already decided to go in the summer.
I'll believe that when I see it.
His lack of involvement, passion on the touchline of late & his drab media interviews kind of back up this rumour.
Yesterday he looked lost & clueless.

The changes he made were baffling & to late in the game to have any effect.
Maybe had he changed it at half time . . . who knows?

He has always had the majority of the fans backing, no matter what.
Currently that's not the case.

Going back to the sackings this season, this report by the beeb seems to show that in all but one case, the new managers have little or no impact in respect of the league position. Not talking about stabilising / changing tactics.

The significance of this? The only team to have improved are the only club to have brought in a seasoned premiership manager with a proven track record.

Though not a gooner I think it's time for AW to move on particularly if Arsenal don't qualify for champs league and lets face it Everton look a lot hungrier. AW has failed, for several seasons now, to bring in high Quality Players on Transfer even with the Money available to him. He clearly has a real Problem in spending Money or maybe it's arrogance - he didn't personally develop the Player. Either way I do believe the Club would benefit from a fresh Approach - look at how Everton have stepped up this season. The longer the Club leave him in place the bigger the re-build Job - MUFC a case in Point...........CTID

I feel Wenger will resign if Arsenal don't win the cup. He has had a great career but all good things come to an end. Better to go before the fans turn on him as they surely will. Look at the abuse Fergie got a recent home game!!

Getting very excited (and apprehensive) for the biggest game of the season so far: Liverpool v City on Sunday. I'm a big City fan and we are in a great position whereby if we win all remaining fixtures then we are champs. However, we have a terrible record on Merseyside - one win in the last ten years!! Also concerned that the 25th anniversary of the Hillsborough debacle is likely to motivate the scousers even more. The two most attractive and highest scoring teams in the league going head to head - bring it on! The winners will surely go on to win the league? CTID
