House on Golfcourse - looking to rent

Post by Bush-Hack »

Hi all,
I am looking for a 5-6 Bed room house to rent on or near a golf course in Hua Hin. I have searched so far through this forum (real estate companies) and online about suitable properties without much success. Hence, why I try this way through the forum to see if somebody here knows someone or has connections to a landlord/owner.
About the guest:
3 families with 3 teenage kids , well presented and clean. All are golfers, hence the location of the house is somehow important to us.

About the prospective property:
5-6 bed room
3 bath room
pool
on golf course or very close by (walking distance ).
Maid service / Butler service available.

Rent period: 4 weeks from 15th December 2014 to 14th January 2015.

I appreciate your feedback and suggestions.
cheers

I'm not a golfer so my comments are just my general opinion.

You've started early enough to try and locate the type of property you're looking for so you might be successful, however large properties close to golf courses are still relatively rare from a rental perspective. Obviously worth trying to locate somewhere, but if you don't get a positive response, you might find the type of property you are looking for that will require a taxi or hire car to the golf course. This may not be such a bad thing, as many of the guys who come here to play golf, seem to prefer mixing the courses they play at, rather than sticking to just one, especially if it turns out not to be one of the top 3-5 courses. Also, a house outside of walking distance from a golf course is likely to be cheaper and will help cover the cost of transport.

Good luck
