rental property required plus buy to let property

I am looking for a property to rent with a minimum of one bedroom, close to the town and beach.
Initially 3 month rental... then long term if We are happy with the accommodation.
Also looking for a buy to let property... less than 2m baht.

There are quite a lot of houses both new and 2nd hand that you can find for under 2 million. I bought a small 2 bedroom house in Samorphrong in 1997. There are quite a few for sale of similar size all over the outskirts of Hua Hin. We have rented it out for many years for 8000 baht unfurnished. I have also seen a few new houses for sale between 1 and 2 million baht. To rent it out you would have to add a few extras like air cons, fitted kitchen, screens etc. You really need to drive about to see these deals. We have always rented it out very easily because we paint it after every tenant and make the garden and house immaculate. I recently saw one development that was selling very small houses for just over 1 million baht. You fit it out nicely and you could probably get 8000 baht per month. Not a lot of money but a good return on your investment.
