Thai lady murdered in Hin Lek Fai

Tonight the 'temple end' of Binta was awash with plain-clothes police..showing all the girls a photo-fit image of the alleged culprit..Thai man, maybe from the South of the kingdom due to the picture making him look
like a muslim.
Word on the street is MiB told to get this case solved or heads will roll..new 'big boss' not happy
to have this on his patch.

theprice01 - Thai on thai incidents like this often do not make it into the English language press - scares the punters! If your Thai isn't up to it, then cut and paste what you find here into Google Translate. The renditions are pretty poor, on the whole, but the three substantial pieces of info on this thread pretty much contain everything there is to know at the moment.

Korkenzieher- thank you for that, yes, i did wonder if it would be reported more and/or differently if a foreigner had committed the crime.

Update: this is, so far, purely here-say.

A lady who works with my GF claims to know the named suspect and suggested that he may have previous which went un-punished. It may be for this reason that the heat are making a high profile effort to track him down. One would of course, hope that they would make this effort in any case!
