Thanks Onlychaam - I parked right outside when at a charity do a couple of weeks ago, and didn't realise. IMHO a good location.

The new office is now open according to a friend.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

I've just come back from my annual retirement visa extension. A massive improvement in my opinion. I was in and out in just 25 minutes. Softer seats, and an ability to look through windows certainly lifts the atmosphere.

On the downside, they're still having slight teething problems with their queuing system, which was a little chaotic, but this is no more than a teething problem, and will soon be overcome.

I went this morning. No ONE STOP SERVICE for 90 days stamp.
I had to wait for a while and the reply for an inexistent fast lane was: Not yet ready.
Seems to be very complicate for civil servants.

Went there yesterday to do my 90-day report.
Got there around 3.30 p.m. - no queue, in and out in 5 minutes.
Huge parking area, too.
Definitely an improvement.

Don't bother going on Monday. Just read the main Bangkok immigration web site and states on front page "closed Friday July 11 and Monday July 14".

Have they started the no-paper, computer 90 day report handling yet at the new office? Just wondering if I have to bring my form. Thanks.

I certainly saw a few people with the 90 day forms inside their passports waiting to be seen last Monday.
