Hey Abdul, better check that port engine, I can hear a bit of a rattle.

Engine run up
May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil know`s you`re dead!
Re: Engine run up
I'll have a guess that he wandered off the taxiway, the undercarriage started to sink through a surface not designed to take the weight, so he gave it a bit of throttle to try and get moving again.
Our 747's at maximum take off weight have about twenty tons on each tyre so you have to be very careful where you taxi them.

Clearly not in an area designated for high power engine runs!A Shaheen Air Boeing 737 was damaged in a high power engine runup incident....
Re: Engine run up
In another life I was behind a B-52 with full engine run up during an alert. Blew me 30 yards into a snow bank all tangled up in lines and stanchions. As -20F at the time, well padded with clothing.

Re: Engine run up
Last year one of our 747's did a ground run after they'd been cutting the grass on the airport. First all the grass cuttings behind the aircraft got blown onto a mesh perimeter fence quite a distance behind the aircraft, then about 20 meters of fence went flat on the ground. Airport security was not at all pleased by their new job of standing by a large hole in the fence all night!
