Yes I quite agree but surely you did not hink for one minute that I managed to get into third place with ridiulous predictions like that. I was was just putting the reverse Murphy's law to the test but it failed anyway.lomuamart wrote:I've mentioned before that I don't like people posting their predictions.
It takes all the fun out of it.
Can I make a suggestion, please don't do it?
That's it.

Don't for the sake of Buddha get the autopilot to take over. It completely ruined my season last year. Get a friend to stand in at least.caller wrote:I think its obvious who isn't competing and surely they should be dropped?
But the missus and step-son arrive here shortly (in the UK) and IKTS will drop a little off the radar screen for me. Theres lots to do, as some of you will know and others can imagine? Including taking them both to the hallowed turf for real AKA Gods given light AKA Stamford Bridge! I'll do a match commentary for Surf HH radio if
needed?
3x15 minutes! If only Warhol wasn't such a fraud?
Can you bring a sod of the hallowed turf to Thailand so that I can have it blessed by a monk and framed?

These three are obviously not competing anymore and all thrre got the same score last week, preseumably generated by the system and they all have minus point anyway. If you delete them from the mini league they will still be in the contest and can always rejoin. As they have minus points they have nothing to lose.Bamboo Grove wrote:Had another look and yes, it's actually possible to delete players if your the owner of the mini-league. Should we do this?

It is worth a try and will up the teams average considerably.
BTW thanks to Liverpools inadequacy yet again I have only earned 30 points so far and I nhave no faith in today's predictions. Both of them are stinkers.

I know these three have packed up, so ok to delete. John barnes is benitez as he made a mistake on chosing his name originally.Guess wrote:These three are obviously not competing anymore and all thrre got the same score last week, preseumably generated by the system and they all have minus point anyway. The trio have now been deleted. BTW fear you infidels at the top my team seems to have a good week after a remarkable slump. I have 135 points before the last game of the week.

Well, getting rid of the non-players didn't help! Its only the top ten scorers that count!!!
As a league, we've dropped to 57 from last weeks 21! We have a score of 447 against the leaders score of 535 and I've dropped from 38th to 45th. So we all have to improve next week.
Worse than that though is the news that a Gooner has now broken up the blue boys dominence at the top!
Looks like BG is taking his lead from the Arse in the league. Still musn't grumble, they've earnt me 120 points in 2 weeks!
Will the normal order of things return next week?

Don't worry caller I will get back. It is only five ponits and I had some serious bad luck at the weekend but luckily got 30 points last night. I had my banker on Liverpool to win. This week is a bit of a stinker which may trip up a few of the lesser mortals than us.
There is a string of important games coming up now so lets see hoew we do without a world class golakeeper. If we survive on Wednesday we can survive anything.

My first +60 red box of the season. Lets hope I can hang on to it this time.
Believe or not I got it on Chelsea. I chose Chelsea as I would like to see Liverpool beat Manu but don't think it will happen. Mixed loyalties ruins the game for me.
What happend to Villa? The only one I got wrong. How can they hold Chelse to a draw a Stamford Bridge and two weeks later fail to thrash the mossies on their own turf.

Well, some great scores this week saw HHAD jump to 44th in the "league of leagues" table. A leap of 13 places. Thats pretty good going! 2nd page in the hall of fame.
Guess kept his good form going which means that (yawn!) Blue Boys yet again take the first three places(!) in the celebrated Hua Hin After Dark league, with a Spurs fan overtaking a Gooner for 4th (ouch!).
Some impressive scores from those currently lower down as well.
Be good to see HHAD up there with the best - we're close.
