What are the categories of non-immigrant visas ? Or where can I find that info ? I've run a Forum search to no avail.

Most of the Thai embassy websites list all the different types of visa:

Tourist Visa Exemption
(maximum stay: 30 days)

Tourist Visa
(maximum stay: 60 days)

Transit Visa
(maximum stay: 30 days)

Visa on Arrival
(maximum stay: 15 days)

Non-Immigrant Visa
(for purpose of business, study, conference, seminar, film production, journalism, job volunteer, for person accompanying Thai spouse, for persons over 50 years of age and pension earners)

Three Year Non-Immigrant Visa 'B'
(visitors for business purposes)

Retirement/ Long stay Visa "O-A"
(valid for One year)

Visa for English Teacher

Visa for Nigerian Passport Holders

Visa for certain nationals in the Middle East, South Asia and East Asia
