Firstly, apologies that I didn't post yesterday, but I've been away for a couple of days.

Secondly, OMG, what have they done to their web page? I had to click for ages before I could find something that resembled what's on in Hua Hin. The result was:

In my opinion, the newbie on the web page is back. Only one ofthe 3 movies pretending to be in Original Soundtrack is actually being shown in Original Soundtrack, and the other 2 will be corrected later, when somebody who knows what they are doing turns up.

I went to see Nov man , the 6 40 show, last night. I don't even attempt to use the auto Ticketer but went to the cashier station and knocked on the glass til a girl emerged.
When leaving I looked at the audience, mostly from behind. About 15-20 in all. The surprising thing, mostly young Thai girls. I only saw one other farang couple. Makes me understand their indifference to showing movies in English.

Especially during low season, which is why I tried to persuade them not to have every showing in Original Soundtrack, which they seem to be listening to at last. However, I think 2 showings a day at this time of year is still too much.

Unfortunately, I didn't fancy either this week's showing nor last week's. Therefore I haven't been for a couple of weeks.

OK, it was a minor blip.

Earlier this week, we downloaded and enjoyed The Conjuring, which was the previous movie in the series featuring Annabelle. That was very timely, because this week's Original Soundtrack offering is:

A word of warning, if The Conjuring is anything to go by, this will be quite scary. Certainly the Thais in our household couldn't watch it. I was at the cinema last night and there were 7 Thais sat behind us - it was evident that they found the trailer very scary as well. This is one I'm looking forward to.

I'm very disappointed with this week's selection of Original Soundtrack movies. I had been looking forward to today's release of Dracula, which is a good spin on the old Dracula movies. Unfortunately it is only being shown in Thai.

I don't know if you ever saw an app called Major Movie - from Major Cineplex - (I have it on my Android tablet)..This app shows all the movies in Hua Hin (and the rest of Thailand) and also if the movie is in English or Thai. From it I can tell that today on Friday the 17th Dracula Untold and "The Best of Me, both in English with Thai subtitles. Sometimes you can see the movie times of the following day, but mostly you just have to look at the app on the same day you want to go. It also tells you what time the movies and in which Theatre they run.
