For those that want a "taste off Thailand this weekend we have the Poole Thai festival here in Dorset. Although the heading of this says Bournemouth (already gone) this event is on 5 miles away in Poole.

Yes, sorry it was late in posting, I only saw the other day and forgot to post it :? Should be good, I went last year . Also looks like the weather will be dry on the 7th.
Have fun!

Certainly nothing to be sorry about Siani - I'm hugely grateful you posted it. Should have kept my eye out as I remember the festivals going on last year (which unfortunately I couldn't get to).

Yes we went down lunch time as I needed some sleep from my night shift.
In the morning their was quite a lot of fog but this burnt off just before my wife's friend drove us down there as you know with any fair type event it's all about the weather and on this occasion Mother Nature done us proud.

It was well organised but a bit different to the other Thai festivals but still a good day out.

Yes sounds like it was good. A friend went said the weather was sunny. It is a good place to hold it as it is very beautiful in the park opposite Poole harbour.

There is another Thai festival this weekend in Portsmouth :) I may go to that if the weather is fine.
