Hi brianhuahin

Go to http://www.mangohomeresort.com -> Location map

There you will find the address, GPS coordinates and a Google map.

If you have any problem, I'll be happy to give you more details.
Uh, excuse me but that map on the web site shows Evason Resort and some others. Mango does not show on there (with a name, anyway). We spent 2 frustrating hours yesterday driving around down there trying to find it and I even called their cell number that I had put into my phone before leaving home. No one answered or bothered to call back. We ended up having lunch at the OX Seafood restaurant.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Bookings only - please book by 6 p.m. on Saturday, 20 September by calling 087-1701110 or leave a message here.
Hi Mango,

Can I book for 2 of us please? I'd like the soup and a 'small portion' of the lunch (not too bothered about the price, but if it's on my plate, I will try to eat it, and make myself ill). My wife will select something from your menu as she doesn't eat lamb. Does she have to order in advance as well?

Hi hhfarang,

First of all, I'm really sorry for your frustrations yesterday.
Please let me try to clarify the two points.

1. If you go to our website and click on location map, a window appears top left in the map with a big white dot outlined in black and the GPS coordinates beside it.
An identical big white dot with black outline also appears in the very centre of the map, indicating our location (south-west of the Evason).

To give a verbal explanation. Coming from Hua Hin, take the windy road from Petchasem (turning left just after passing soi 156 diagonally opposite), go over the main Pran Buri River bridge and follow the road until you get to the junction of the new dual carriageway from Pak Nam Pran to Pran Buri. Turn left at that junction and proceed to the first roundabout. Turn right at the roundabout and drive approx. 2 km. Turn right into Soi 8. Continue through the village and we are at the end on the right.
Alternatively, instead of turning left at the main junction, go straight across and follow the (partially unmade) road across 2 more junctions, follow the right-angle left-hand bend and we are the first set of buildings on the left
Also please see the map photo I am posting with this. Unfortunately, I had to downsize the pic, which has badly affected the resolution, but hopefully you can still make out Mango Home Resort & Bistro bottom left of centre on the map extract.

2. I have thoroughly checked my cell phone for all incoming calls yesterday. There was not one single call from a number unfamiliar to me. I really do not have any explanation for this. What number did you actually call?

As I said, I'm really sorry you couldn't find us.
Please do try again and we will reward your endeavour with the first glass of wine on the house.
If you are still not sure of the location, I will drive the short distance to Pak Nam Pran centre and you can follow me back to Mango Home.
We really do hope to see you here soon.

Best regards,

Tan from Mango Home Resort

Hi BB,
Please do not be sorry about bringing more people - that's absolutely great.
Your wife can order her food at her leisure once you arrive.
Look forward to seeing you tomorrow. :D

Before I left home I loaded the number in my phone from the ad at the side of this forum which led me to your web page... 0871701110.

I've been, and everything I ate was very good - thank you very much. Portion sizes were perfect for me as I could put just what I needed on the plate. I did actually eat a little too much, but that was down to the quality of the food.

Yes, we will go again.

Market Village to Mango Bistro map:

Hi hhfarang,

Yes, a call did come from you, which I unfortunately missed. I'm very sorry about that.
I have sent you a PM.

Here is the map extract again in higher resolution:
