I know I'm probably coming across as a moderator pushing a sponsor, but my recommendation is genuine.

On 2 occasions I've had to use travel insurance for my wife - each time the condition was serious. Trying to deal with UK companies was good, but very slow. It actually had me in tears one time with frustration. Everything worked out OK in the end, but it was quite traumatic getting there.

With the guys at AA insurance, they are excellent, and they are here. I had a problem late one Sunday night - a phone call to Matt, and he had everything sorted very quickly. This local peace of mind, in my opinion, is priceless.
