Statutory Declaration made at the Australian Embassy Bangkok

What would be the best wording in a Stat Dec intended to prove at least 65K income monthly for Retirement Visa ? Does the Australian Embassy require any proof of income ?

I do not use that method, but I am willing to bet that they will require proof of income. I had to get a Stat Dec last year, and the snotty nosed Thai female there was not at all helpful, and that was just for a proof of address. Good luck!

They will answer emails, if you want to ask them.

I have done this twice. Stated "I hereby declare that my monthly income exceeds 65,000 Baht."
Never asked for proof.
Immigration have accepted this without comment.
