I would like to wish all our US members a Happy Thanksgiving, may you all have a great day and get everything you hoped for out of it.

Who is celebrating? How are you doing it? Will you find time to talk to family and friends who are not in Thailand?

Yes, over the years it's about faded away here for us. A normal day, and a school day for the daughter as well. Greetings go back and forth on Facebook and that's about it. If a turkey is to be cooked, it's always at Christmas time for us. It's a great holiday though if in the States with a lot of family over to one house for the celebration. Usually the only time of year (or only time in many years) everyone gets together in one place. At least I get to watch the NFL games...on Friday morning. Pete

I am easily satisfied and rarely complain about food, but the worst meal I ever had in Thai was a T'giving dinner a couple of years ago in HH.
In retrospect, expecting Thai cooks to make good stuffing, cranberry sauce and giblet gravy was an unreasonable expectation. I rarely leave half a meal on the plate but this was one where I did.
So I'll have an Asian meal tonight and perhaps a turkey sandwich for lunch tomorrow.

A great day with friends, absolutely stuffed full, glad the shorts can expand. Lots of left over ,so turkey sandwiches and curry for the next few days.
