Soi Klong is the road that runs alongside a small canal parallel to Pethakasem Road from the centre of town heading to the North. I think the hardware store mentioned is the one on the right at the area known locally as 48 rai market which is a large open area of land which has a busy market in the evenings.

I know of two different coin-ops. They are:

I can report the one east of the railway tracks does not have a drier, the ones to the west do (THB1 per minute). The washing machines are THB20 OR 30 depending on size, and only take THB10 coins.

There is one in the middle of town on Naebkhehars Rd right across from Cool Smile dental next to the massage joints. I don't recall if they had dryers though.

Really interested to hear you are looking for a dryer. My wife and I have looked at opening a laundry and adding one dryer was a priority. The only issue here is the rent and costs vs the amount we can charge from these machines and how much use they would get. I think as you see at most places laundry is built in with several other businesses. We have actually looked at something in her village where a small one level shop is much more affordable to do such a business.
