^^ also collected mine this morning and it was no more than 10 min in and out. Taking your lead, I'm sending our HR lady tomorrow to transfer my visa. It'll probably cost me a lunch but much better than hanging around at the one stop centre myself. :D

Well - I can report a successful "FAIL"................ :duck:

Guess what - they wanted the dreaded letter from the British Embassy + 5 other items..........
This was at Chaeng Wattana, not the one stop place.

Went to the Embassy this morning, (Fortunately 5 mins walk from where I'm currently working), was in and out in under 10 minutes with the letter - free

Anyways - the office boss is confident the transfer of the visa will be achieved tomorrow.

Isn't life fun

I could not release my passport to my HR lady until yesterday. I pre warned her that a letter from the British Embassy would be required. She smiled and went on her merry way to the One Stop Visa and work Permit offices at Chamchuri Square

A little over one hour and she was back with the WP successfully transferred to my new passport and without any need for a letter from the Embassy :D  Go Figure!

Did she smile nicely, or open her purse (your wallet)?

So - the new Passport has the Visa transferred into it.

Today we went to the Labour office and got the Work Permit revised and extended.

Next week it's back to immigration to get the Visa extended in parallel as well 8)

In the past, we got all this done at the 'one stop', but due to Contract changes and other labour intensive complications we have to do it at the separate offices.

What a bloody caper................... :banghead:

My reply was to confirm the appointment time. They were very good. Due to travelling I wanted an appointment the next day, at a specific time.....no problem. The service seems very efficient. I received my passport within 3 weeks, which included the Christmas & New Year period. I got both an email and telephone call when the passport was available for collection.
