Pacquiao v Mayweather
Pacquiao v Mayweather
Does anyone know where to get an online live stream of the fight on May 2nd (will be Sunday morning here)?
Or if any of the Thai channels are showing it?

Matches like that tend to be PPV (Pay Per View), so I doubt very much that any of the Thai channels will be showing it.

My son's girlfriend is saying it's being shown early morning on the 3rd (that seems to fit) on channel 7

Sky Sports in the UK are charging £19.95 for it (whether or not you already pay their extortionate monthly fees...
), so any "freebie" online streams are likely to be shutdown early on.
You could try the likes of http://www.sportp2p.com/, http://www.rojadirecta.me/, http://livetv.sx/en/, or http://www.stream2watch.com/, but as mentioned I suspect you will be lucky to be able to view.
I have been told that CCTV 5 in China will be showing it, so if you are able to get the channel in Thailand that's worth a try - possibly even viewing online (http://english.cntv.cn/live/cctv5/).

The advert must be shown at least hourly (in Thai of course). Although I don't understand exactly what they are saying, the indications are she is right.Big Boy wrote:My son's girlfriend is saying it's being shown early morning on the 3rd (that seems to fit) on channel 7

Like almost all previous live big boxing matches this one is likely to be shown on Thai public television. As mentioned Ch 7. As we all know there are no ppv in Thailand, and that's why it's on public television, or one of the other providers. All big sporting events are almost always ppv in USA, like boxing, UFC, etc, but ppv doesn't mean it's unavailable in countries like Thailand which doesn't have ppv. UFC can be watched on Truevisions, same with most boxing.

Guess they have to raise the money for the purse somehow! I wonder what the hell the TV/Cable providers are paying for the rights?
Looking forward to it though - hopefully will manage to get it through Ch7 (thanks buks
) or elsewhere online without having to fork out another 20 quid on Sky!!
