Well I don't feel so bad now............. I'm in UK (Shropshire) and it has not stopped persisting it down all day. My very expensive hire car is sitting outside soaking wet ;-( . Coming home to HH next week never sounded so good lol :-)

looking at the MTSAT West Color Infrared Loop, it looks like a cell is forming over the gulf and is traveling from ne of bangkok to sw towards HH and the last frame showing the cell arriving here. the cell was building up and rotating.

Certainly been a lot of thunder (loud) and lightening, not to mention a reasonable downpour. The rain has now just about stopped, but still some rumbling going on out to sea

You have a big mess coming towards you from the West per the below map. When the map comes up, check the "satellite" box and you'll see what I mean. Pete

There is a giant storm approaching from the West. Interesting to see if it dies out over the mountains as if moves East. The storm is huge.

We had huge winds and heavy rain but no damage, just no electric for about 3 hours which came back about 10 minutes ago.

Yes, the Tessebahn arrived to give us a new road this morning - if it stays like this, we could have several months of mud ahead
