I'm becoinga big LC supporter as I find it very insulting that all the 'experts' are forecasing a huge collapse sometime soon. I find that the bookies are the best experts and they all have LC, not top, but in the top 4 at the end of the season.

Ranieri, being a good manager, will probably use that to motivate his players. On the other hand a lot of clubs go through a bad patch (Chelsea) or have injury problems, like Arsenal and Man C.

Is there a fall out between LVG and Giggs ?

Every game I have watched, when the camera pans to the bench, I have never seen them speak to each other even though they sit next to each other.

When Rooney scored their 3rd last night at 2-2, a super strike albeit it reached him via a block and a deflection, both LVG & Giggs jumped out of their seats to celebrate then sat down again and never exchanged a word! Bizarre.

When United scored their second goal, a good one by the way, LVG showed no reaction, he just sat in his seat and made notes in his weighty tome. Most other managers would have been on the touchline showing a bit of passion.

LVG is certainly one of the strangest managers to have graced the Premiership - he has absolutely zero personality and I'd hate to be a Man U supporter with him in charge.

And another thing, it was good to see a referee have the courage to penalize the wrestling which goes on at corners. Would he have done it at OT though?

Well the 'Ammers nearly gave you what you wanted and it wouldn't surprise me if Chelsea manage a draw today, so Leicester could still have their nose out in front, mind you they then have their three most difficult games in a row coming up against Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal. As much as I'd love to see them get say 7 points from those games, realistically it could be more like 3, still interesting times.

Yes, the Hammers did well for us (Spurs) yesterday, as did the Saints away at Old Trafford. We also did ourselves proud at Palace, with 2 fantastic goals, particularly the classic volley from Alli, who is turning into a gift from the gods of football.

I haven't posted much about Spurs as I'm a bit superstitious and, as a long-suffering supporter, sort of half-expecting disappointment. Having said that, the general level of football at WHL (and particularly away from WHL) this season has been very good, and sometimes fantastic. Standing 5 points behind the leaders, we're obviously still in the running for the title, but to be honest I'm not too fussed about that. A top 4 place was the target at the beginning of the season, and I'm sure that remains the case. Anything else will be a huge plus.

Still waiting for Leicester's much anticipated dip in form. In spite of all the nay-sayers, it's difficult to see them finishing outside the top 4 at this stage. While I'm all for the underdog, I hope they don't win the title, as the unedifying way they play their football doesn't deserve it in IMO.

We've got some big games coming up against Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Man U, but at this stage, and certainly this season, every game is a big game. I think confidence is high, energy is high, Pochettino has the team playing the game the way he wants - hell, even my pet hate Lamela is earning his spurs (so to speak...). We're beginning to get that all important winning feeling, the expectation of winning regardless of who we're playing. We've been close before, but usually because of one or two stand-out players. Now we have several, and playing the way we are at the moment, it's difficult to see them wanting to move, as has previously been the case. An excellent young team that could achieve so much over the next few years, and a terrific young manager too.

But I'm still at the "I'll believe it when I see it stage". Fingers crossed...

It's owned by an old friend of mine, Theo and he is also a Arsenal supporter as what comes to English football. Then we can have a new bet. Tell him that you lost a bet against me about Spuds vs Arsenal. Ok?
