The top teams cream in all the money each year which means they have the cash to buy the top players, and therefore continuing their success, the less financially sound teams can therefore rarely compete, the system needs to change so there is a fair split of revenue to put all teams on an equal footing.

Leicester now rake in the cash.

And it will be very interesting to see what happen to the cash. Will it be invested in 2-3 top players and improvements to the ground?
This is the way

Well, with the money they stand to make,Leicester should be able to sign up Kane,Alli and Alderweireld to help them defend there title next season ! :rasta:
Congrats to Leicester.....wow,those that put a tenner on at 5,000-1 at the beginning of the season will have no worries about having funds for renewing their visa based on retirement ! :guns:

Dembele given a six game ban. Haven't watched the incident yet so can't say if it's fair or not.

Well, I only watched the first 4 minutes, and I think its as well Spuds didn't win the league - what a bunch of thugs. What sort of example would that have been to today's youngsters?

And to think, I was starting to believe the rubbish being spouted on here about beautiful football, best team in the league etc.

6 match ban is too light IMHO - a charge of attempted GBH would have been more appropriate.

It certainly was nasty but well out of character. Beautiful football and the best in the league still stand.

As for setting an example... BB...haven't your lot got a double child killer between the sticks?

I agree entirely. Most neutral supporters hate Costa for his antics; going in late, winding players up, sly off the ball stuff etc and that was Spurs game plan from the k.o. from just about every player.

The ref as usual didn't help, after about 4 minutes with the ball dead, the whistle gone, Walker kicked the Chelsea player (Pedro I think) while he was on the ground and not even a yellow. :tsk:

In fact I think it's unfair that both teams have been charged, the Chelsea players did well not to react to the antagonism. (Apart from maybe Costa near the end when him and Walker slid off the pitch behind the goal but the cameras never showed a close up/replay and Walker ended up with a bloody nose).

Yes. never denied it, but at least his punishment was appropriate to the crime. I'm not saying I agree with the leniency of the punishment, but that's the British legal system - nothing we can do about that.

Load of bollocks, 6 match ban ridiculous - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03tb5wf

Provocation by Chelsea players you watch the first and second incident in your 4 minutes, Chelsea started the issues even before a ball was kicked. I admit Tottenham got carried away towards the end. Watch all Spurs PL games like I have and you would then know your statement is a load of bollock! Spurs have not had a player sent off this season only one other team can match that. So I say again Load of bollocks BB

Clattenburg had a very poor game and if he had stamped down earlier some of the subsequent issues might not have happened, and yet.......wasn't it great to have a full-blooded game like that, warts and all.

I think there were a few spuds players that on any other week would have been off the park for some of the challenges they received yellow cards for. In fact, there must be quite a few players from other clubs muttering that they got sent off for far less.

Dembele can count himself lucky, in rugby, the same offence carries a harsher punishment. The FA don't want to see that sort of incident creeping into the game and they made it quite clear when announcing the charge that a 3-game suspension wasn't enough, so it's not really a surprise.
