Hi, everyone:)
I'm Alice and I'm new here.
My family and I are going to Thailand for a family trip in July, and we plan to stay in Aleenta Resort & Spa which is in Pranburi (not far form Hua Hin.)
Does anyone know if there's a minivan from Hua Hin to Pranburi, or from Bangkok to Pranburi? 'Cause I can only find the minivan from Bangkok to Hua Hin.
And if there is, where does it stop in Pranburi? And how much does it cost?
Thank you very much!
Warm greetings from Taiwan!!
Alice

Re: Hua Hin to Pranburi/ Bangkok to Pranburi by minivan
Hi Alice, welcome to the forum. If I were you, I'd opt for a decent taxi all of the way. Yes, the mini vans are cheap, but they tend to drive at break neck speeds, and do not have the best safety record. They will have minimal space for luggage, and you may have to pay for extra seats just for your bags, many people on here wil not use them.
On the plus side, they do go from Bangkok to Pranburi.
If you're coming from Suvarnabhumi, you might want to consider the airport bus at 269 Baht/person, and then a taxi to Pranburi.

Hi Alice
The minivan from Bangkok to Pranburi leaves from Victory Monument every half hour or so.
Arrives opposite Fort Tannarat next to Rak Wattaya school.
The lady who runs the office also act as a Taxi.

Dear Big Boy,
Thank you very much for such useful information!
I think I'll choose Taxi for transportation since safety is first priority:)

Dear Bonbon,
Thank you very much for such useful information! However, Rak Wattaya school is still far from the resort we booked.
We will take taxi directly from Bangkok to Aleenta resort. Still thanks for your reply!

Hua Hin to Pranburi/ Bangkok to Pranburi by minivan
Alice, you do know that Aleenta Resort is not in Pranburi town don't you?
It is about 6-7 kilometres south of Paknampran on the coast.
You will need a taxi from Pranburi unless they have a customer pick-up service.
The airport bus to Huahin is probably the cheapest and safest way to Huahin. Avoid the minibuses!
Then taxi from Huahin Bus Station direct to Aleenta Resort. Should take about 30 - 45 minutes from Huahin.
