Fishing from Hua Hin pier

Does anyone know if its allow to fishing from the pier in HH ?

It used to be allowed, not sure now that the ferry is to use the pier. In the past you could only catch tiddly little fish, squid and jelly fish, everything else has gone.

I've visited both piers in the last couple of days chasing the ferry

There were plenty fishing at both locations. However, TIT and whether it's allowed is another question.
