It would be interesting to actually have real figures released about how many foreigners of all types perish here in one way or another. Never gonna happen though as I bet it is way too high.
Thailand is a very dangerous country and you definitely have to keep your wits about you here. Most foreigner deaths here are either ruled a suicide or a blamed on the foreigner for just being here.
Thailand is still in the 21st Century very uncivilized and third-world.
And very very few foreigner deaths are even reported, the vast majority go unreported.
