Naebkahart Road Restaurant???
Naebkahart Road Restaurant???
Can anybody tell me about the restaurant on the corner of Naebkahart Road and Night Market street. It always seems to be packed to the gills with Thai tourists so I am guessing it must be pretty good.
Any recommendations on what I should order there and how much I am likely to pay?
Thanks in advance.

I assume this one:

Always full with Thai people hovering over the table waiting for others to leave, cheap. I heard reports of great Thai food.

Yes, that's the one. Very well known restaurant and there's a reason it's very popular - it's very good. Thai's particularly like the soup served in ceramic vessels over charcoal. I like the fish. In the evening it technically opens at 17.30, get there about 17.00 and they allow you to grab a table before the official opening time and start taking orders. My other half loves eating there but won't join the long queues that form very early.404cameljockey wrote: ↑Tue Jan 09, 2018 5:37 pm I assume this one:

I'm ashamed to say I didn't try it yet, but Thai's tell me it's so good. Why queue with falang at Moonsmile & Platoo when you can queue with Thais here?caller wrote: ↑Tue Jan 09, 2018 5:52 pmYes, that's the one. Yes, that is the one, but I have never seen it empty like it is in the Google picture.
Seems to be popular with adventurous Chinese tourists too.
Does anybody have any idea what it is called?
I heard that there is also a streetside pad-thai vendor near there that comes up from Pranburi everyday. Supposed to be the best Pad Thai in Hua Hin. Is that true? The coffee guy next to the Wat gate certainly has the best iced cofee in town so I am looking forward to finding the pad-thai stall too.

It's also open lunch time, but the hot pot is not available, only evening.
It's a very good and cheap restaurants. Only inconvenience, you have to wait for a seat, but service is fast.

Re: Naebkahart Road Restaurant???
Some time ago the restaurant was called "KOTI Restaurant"
i do not actually know, if they changed the name . . .
when the restaurant is open and the blinds are open, you rarely can see the name.

Re: Naebkahart Road Restaurant???
Thanks for taking the time to reply but the Koti Restaurant (Rannahan Hua Hin in Thai) is indeed on the Petchakasem Road.
I have a feeling that the super busy wooden restaurant on the corner of Naebkahan Road might be called something like See Ye Chek Bie....
Does that sound familiar to anybody??
