hi!
just plucked up the courage to finally join hhad.
been to hh now 9 times and will be back in may for number 10.
love the place and people to bits and hope to retire there from mud island one day, but only in mid thirtys and finances don't allow as yet.
hhad is a great way to stay in touch with whats goin on in hh.
so thought i'd say hi to everyone.

p.s. if anyone uses romantic bar say hello to chris & puy from cawood,yorkshire.

You are, in fact, back in God's other country, but not necessarily in the seventies - The Tales of Parahandy were originally published in a Glasgow evening paper at the beginning of the last century, so I'm even older than you thought!

Hi everyone!

Am a Korean who is working in KL, Malaysia now and just decided yesterday to grab a great chance to work there. So within 2-3 months, will go there to work, to live and of course, to enjoy for 2 years.

Here in KL, just started to make great friends via regular weekly gathering by web expat forum. So really hope to meet new friends to hang out together out of work there in HH as well.

No idea about HH....need to find out house or condo to live first...might ask serval questions here and there in this forum.

If there is someone out there who wants to add me to friends list, plz pm me.

Hello Newlife - and I hope it is...

You should be able to find out all you need to know - and more - here, including accommodation. I think it's a good idea to find some temporary accommodation and then hunt around a bit to find something that suits your budget.

Not sure how many Koreans reside in HH, if that's who you want to meet up with. If you're multi-national with regards to your friends, why not pop down to the HHAD party.

Hello everybody,

Have been looking through the postings on different subjects as we have bought land and build a house (Palm Hills) in the past two years, before I realized that it would be nice to intruduce ourselves to you all.

We are both Dutch but have been in Portugal for 10 years and prior to that 5 years in China. We love Thailand, but especially Hua Hin. Can´t explain why, just do. It is sort of small and cosy.

Hopefully we will be able to spend more time uot in HH in the near future, for the time being, we just come on holidays.

Would love to come to the HHAD party on March 10 as it coincides with our holiday and meet you people. Till then!

Vital Sparks, Thanks a ton for your sweet tips!
Of course, I love to have a bunch of friends regardless of nationality! I love learning another countries' culture as well! Also I can share my Korean culture especailly on Korean drinks & food!

Think I might go there in Early April...which means it would be hard to attend HHAD annualy party but hope I can attend another gathering so that I can meet you and some friends there in April. :-)

Hope you a great Chinese New Year- 2nd chance to start the resolutions 2007! Again thank you and hope to see you soon!

Very important to the Koreans.
Children learn how to make it, even before they learn to read.
Basically old way of preservation of vegetables.

If you've got any of that kibchi, I'd love to have some. It's been ages since I've had any and that was at The Kaya Restaurant in Soho, London.

Wow! Happy to know that you all like Kimchi! :-) Of course, I can share them with you! Normally I get them from my anties or buy them since I'm not good at making Kimchi.. But am good at cooking with Kimchi such as Kimchi Fried Rice, Kimchi Soup, Kimchi Pancake etc... Love to share Korean culture and love to learn your culture! Hmmm...look forward to moving over soon! Then have a great weekend there~
