Can anyone help an elderly German Lady on her own?
Erika is an older German lady, a bit of a free spirit. She is travelling around on her own and stopped off at Hua Hin and Cha Am. She was desperately looking for accommodation that would not stretch her budget too much. I managed to find her a Townhouse at Cha Am where she has stayed the last 2 month. She feels a little isolated and a little bit frightened where she is (its on a dark road with not too many people) so she wants to find a new place to stay for about 8,000 baht per month, somewhere near to the Town Centre in Hua Hin. It needs to be starting this weekend. I'm busy up in Cha Am so can't find the time to look for her. Has anyone any suggestions please?
Those two sois are about the closest you're going to get, but I doubt you'll find anything under 10k.
You may want to try some of the new serviced apartments that have popped up along Petchkasem road opposite the Market Village, sure they're only a glorified hotel room but if she's living alone it could be all she needs.

Don't know if it is any help but the Amara Inn used to do pretty good monthly rates, and is not too far away. Another area to drive and have a look is the soi that runs parallel to Phetkasem Road nearer to the sea (Naebkhehars Road) or rather the small sois that come off it north of the junction with Chomsin Road. Hope you find something.
