Plans to move Hua Hin station out of town axed
According to Thai media the plans to move Hua Hin's railway station out of town have been shelved. For convenience of tourists and visitors the station will remain in the town centre.
Station master Prasong Komuk told media that plans for a station 7km south of the town in Ban Nong Kae were now off and the new station would be constructed near the site of the existing one.
The new plan is to move the station a couple of hundred meters south but retain its iconic architecture which attracts 3 million visitors per year. The new station will be part of a 4km elevated section which will run from Hua Hin centre to Soi 102.

retain its iconic architecture
The new station will be part of a 4km elevated section
It will be interesting to see how they can combine those two parameters.

Didn't somebody (maybe me ) post artists impressions of the new station?

Tell your teenage children and grandchildren about it--they may live to see it all completed.
