Hi all,
Excuse me going straight into a question with my first post here at HHAD...
I'm coming to Hua Hin in February for a few months (depending on Visa alowance) to work on my golf game intensively.
Has anyone got any first hand info on the best place/guy to get the the best value tuition as I'll be on a budget and needing to stretch the lessons over 2 - 3 months.
I'll also be looking to rent a room in Hua Hin too for 2-3 months (not a normal golfers high holiday standard). I'll be looking through the HHAD site but if anyone has a personal favorite, I'd love to hear about it.
Thanks everyone,
Martyn

I have not had any tuition in Hua Hin, but Hua Hin Golf Tours who I have used to arrange golfing holidays also offer lessons.
I cannot say how good they are at lessons, but if it is any help, three golfing friends and I booked an 11 day trip with them last year, we enjoyed it that much that we are returning shortly on a 17 day trip with them this year.
Web page for their lessons can be found at: I believe that facilities at Springfield Royal are used as a training base by a number of players on the Asian tour and also some LPGA players.

Marvo,
Whats your current handicap, i know many of the best teachers here in Hua Hin, some are better with beginners some prefer to teach the better player. Jim from Hua Hin golf tours is a good all rounder, if you are really looking to sharpen up a solid game already i will have some other suggestions.

Hi JW,
Thanks for your input. I'm an 8 handicap (playing once or twice a week) with ambition and dedication. I'm looking for a couple of months intensive training to bring me to as close to scratch standard as possible. I've always had the dream of being a tour pro, I guess I want to test myself to the limit and find out exactly how good I can get with the right kind of help. (+1, +2, +3????) We have to have our dreams!
Cheers,
Martyn
