Thx! appreciate the insight - plus I must include my bank book with the THB400k. I assume that's still a requirement.handdrummer wrote: ↑Fri Sep 21, 2018 5:24 pm Soi 35 to the end, turn right, half way down the road on the right. A retirement visa is simpler, less paperwork.

Can anybody advise where to get photos for Immigration? In Bluport or Market Village perhaps?
Re: New Hua Hin Immigration office at Bluport
Get them done at Immigration - not expensive, and no danger of them being rejected. The lady at the photocopy machine will do it while she checks your papers.

Any camera shop in MV. I think it's 6 for 100 or 200 bht.
Re: New Hua Hin Immigration office at Bluport
If you are travelling from the centre of town on the baht bus, get off just after you pass Soi 80. Just along from there there's a competent and well equipped photographic shop who will take a proper photo of you (not a photobooth job) and print them out while you wait. Can anybody advise where to get photos for Immigration? You can then grab the next baht bus and continue down to Bluport..
I may be drunk, Miss, but in the morning I shall be sober and you will still be ugly...
Re: New Hua Hin Immigration office at Bluport
No disrespect, but why on earth whould you bother doing that when any camera shop in either of the big Malls will do exactly the same? I used big camera in Bluport. I got a heap of immigration and pasport photos - two sizes - and a flash drive withh the pics on. Not a photobooth job!uncle tom wrote: ↑Wed Sep 26, 2018 8:15 pmIf you are travelling from the centre of town on the baht bus, get off just after you pass Soi 80. Re: New Hua Hin Immigration office at Bluport
My understanding is for Blueport immigration you don't need photos they take one there for you.
Re: New Hua Hin Immigration office at Bluport
I think this thread has veered off course. I'm pretty sure that the subject is aimed at the main immigration and not Bluport immigration. BB gave the correct response in that you can get them done at immigration at 19 Rai.
Re: New Hua Hin Immigration office at Bluport
Yes, I agree it's for the main immigration office, but I need the pics for other reasons as well and when I go to immigration, I want everything prepared in advance, not mess around when I get there.

Re: New Hua Hin Immigration office at Bluport
If I visit Hua Hin with a 60 day visa, would I be able to extend it by 30 days at the BluPort office on payment of the THB1,900? Could I extend my wife’s visa too in her absence? Would I need to change my flight departure date first before applying for the extension?

Thanks Pleng
Re: New Hua Hin Immigration office at Bluport
My understanding is that extensions have to be done in person (as opposed to 90 day reports). However, that doesn't explain the use of agents.
