As far as I know (correct me if I'm wrong anybody??) there are no facilities like that in this area.

I was at the Anantara Hotel yesterday and saw that they have facilities for looking after children, they have a room (with a 'minder') near to the beach with games, tv etc. whether it is available to non residents or not I do not know.

The Hilton does also, but these places always struck me as more child-minding facilities rather than stimulating & fun facilities. Again, not sure if they are available to non-residents.

HH really does need something for kids. Something that came to my mind (but I don't have the money to set it up) is a creche/play facility either in or near Market Village. Something along the lines of what big shopping malls have in UK. Security conscious, staffed by childcare workers & full of fun activities (art & crafts, videos, play equipment, dress-up etc). Somewhere where parents (for a fee) can drop off their kids for a couple of hours while shopping (or whatever), know that they're going to have fun & be safe. I'm sure this would be a money-maker, even if only used by tourists...

Hi Dawn
it is a good idea...but i am not sure of the legislation in Thailand...in the UK we have to meet so many legal obligations regarding all Health and safety european directives....it can be a mine field sometimes...
