Best long stay condo deals?

Post by uncle tom »

Any recommendations for serviced condos in walking distance of the centre of town where you can cut a good deal for stays of 2-3 months?

Sea view unimportant, pool unimportant - daily visit from a maid to make the bed and clean essential..
I may be drunk, Miss, but in the morning I shall be sober and you will still be ugly...

Baan Khun Por, on soi 88 is clean, with a very good food court and live music (also many girls go there!), and within 10 minutes walk of soi 80, if you are moderately active. Binthabat a further 10 minutes.
I think condo rate for 3 months is about 5,500/month, but not sure. www.bkp-hotel.com.

On soi 55 there is Chevasai hotel, right next to Bintabaht area, 032-512421.
I don't know if they do any deals.

On soi 94, The Space seems OK. I think the rooms start at 4000/month, depending on how many amenities you want (furniture, aircon, cleaning etc). They have a Facebook page.
You will, however, need your own transport to the town centre as it is too far to walk, although soi 94 itself has several bars and restaurants. Maybe cheaper to rent motorcycle for a few weeks.

Good luck in your search.

Baan Khun Por quoted me a surprising 13,000 Bt a month for a six month stay about two months ago. Not really what I would call a "condo" with no kitchen but more of a glorified hotel room IMO.

Yes Baan Khun Por is not a condo and minimum is 13000/ month. The quality is not really good and the location not nice. Very noisy inside

I sometimes stay the night in Baan Khun Por after their concerts, if I don't want to drive home.
I have always found the rooms clean, and no noise, but that is in the hotel side. Never stayed in the condo block.

I think it is a very good location if you base your activities between soi 94 and soi 80, both are within walking distance.

The price I outlined above was obtained by a Thai friend last week who is considering renting a condo.
