Weather Warning
"Summer Thunderstorm "


No. 1 Time Issued : April 23, 2019

During 26-28 April 2019, the southerly wind and the southeasterly wind prevailing upper Thailand will strengthen where hot to very hot over the areas. Outbreaks of thunderstorm, strike of lightning with gusty winds and hails are forecast for the first in the Northeast and the East (26 April 2019).

The North and the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity effect the next day (27 April 2019). People should keep off unsecured building and outdoor and farmers beware of crop damage.


The advisory is effect on 23 April 2019, at 5.00 p.m.

Fantastic thunderstorm just south Black Mountain just ended after an hour of glorious rain.

Same as my end as well, yet I could see the rain and then drove through it as I headed north to the Pala-U road. Every late afternoon, heavy clouds gather and pass without a drop of rain falling.

Yes it’s so frustrating to be “so near but so far” from the rain that the land badly needs - hopefully the forecast rain over the next week or so will arrive!!

A huge build up black clouds heading towards Bangkok from the East. Are you getting clobbered over your way Pete?

Drove from Cha-Am through the rain, into HH in the rain. Arrived home on 112....... not a drop!!

Rained at the far end of 112 I'm pleased to say. But not for too long.

Well rain again after the deluge on Wednesday yet another hour plus from 4.30pm. We are just lucky near Black Mountain but wish you all had some too.

We live a km off the main road between Cha Am and HH and didn’t get a drop of rain today!!

I think we are about to get some serious weather! High winds and lightning around Mon Mai area!
Enjoying 'Retirement'....So many jobs to do, I don't know how I ever had time to work!
