QLD v NSW State of Origin

My first post here. Hoping someone can help.
I arrive Novotel Cha-am 05 May for 5 nights. I’m keen to watch the QLD NSW state of origin rugby league game. The Novotel has a shuttle to clock tower. I understand there might be a few bars where I can watch the game. Preferably somewhere with friendly staff. All advise appreciated.

I think that the best bar for "Minority" sports is El Murphys, go in the day before and talk to one of the 2 owners
