it’s a challenging market out there in the current climate.
I ate there once two or three years ago and was completely underwhelmed. It was overpriced UK pub fare of rather poor quality and service. How any of these joints, and there are many of them in the Farang enclaves of Thailand manage to survive is beyond me, serving up the same old uninspiring and unimaginative standard pub dishes that have hardly changed in 30 years. I suspect the clientele that are attracted to this kind of dated fare are a dying breed, and unless Buffalo Bill is prepared to move with the times his new venture may not last very long.
There are many Thai run places these days that do a much better job of cooking Farang food.
I remember him when his restaurant was around where Burger King is now. Was very popular at the time although he had very little competition then. Went a couple of times after he moved and was never disappointed but haven't been there for years.
When he was in the centre of town he was much more accessible. His current location is not so.

Long after the original Bill had upped sticks and returned to the UK (8-9 years ago?), and it's his return to HH that is the subject of this thread. The fall in standards was almost immediate and very disappointing.
I liked Mr and Mrs Bill and enjoyed the food on offer when they were running the place, and I wish them well on their return.
