Ordinary savings account beneficiary

Here is a question regarding listing a beneficiary for a regular savings account ( SCB, Kasikorn, etc) The account was set up many years ago and I dont remember much about the forms involved in the set up. Having just gone through a bunch of banking, I would rather not sit in the lobby listening to numbers again anytime soon and then having to explain what I want to the teller. Anyone set up an account here recently know the answer? Is listing a beneficiary customary? Can it be done?
