To contradict my last optimistic post, some London hospitals have gone on record to say the COVID-19 deaths ARE higher (double in some cases) than stated but simply not yet recorded appropriately.
I don't trust children. They're here to replace us.

And don't forget those who have died outside the hospitals (at home etc.) which are not recorded. Apparently deaths in Care Homes for example are something like 70% UNrecorded or at least recording delayed at present (why, I don't know but this from BBC, so I assume not "fake news").

POLICE REFUTE REPORT OF CHECKPOINT COP INFECTED WITH COVID-19
Police on Monday insist media reports of a policeman assigned to the coronavirus screening checkpoint infected with coronavirus are unfounded.
Refuting a widely reported story over the weekend, police commanders said the officer in question, identified as Lt. Col. Somkiat Anantakal of Taling Chan Police Station, was not even present at the police checkpoints before he tested positive for the virus.
“He was not at the checkpoint, one hundred percent,” station chief Col. Warawat Thammasorot said by phone. “He was already sick at home when the checkpoint was set up. He didn’t come to the station, even … Please rest assured.”
National police spokesman Kissana Phattanacharoen said Somkiat was “completely unrelated to” the checkpoint. The Metropolitan Police Bureau on Monday also issued a statement insisting that Lt. Col. Somkiat was never personally involved in checkpoint duties.
Police said Somkiat, who worked as a traffic police officer, went to Siriraj Hospital on Thursday to get tested for coronavirus and was sent for treatment at the Police General Hospital on Friday.
Six of Somkiat’s colleagues are now in quarantine and are awaiting results for COVID-19.
The police spokesman said that 36 policemen, mostly metropolitan officers, have contracted the virus so far, with two recovering. Currently at least 666 police officers are in quarantine, he added.

Ok. Maybe not at a checkpoint, but isn't his job just as much of a worry?Police said Somkiat, who worked as a traffic police officer,
30+ other officers tested positive!!!
Anyone feeling safe whilst being protected by our police force?

LAMPANG: Residents in this northern province have taken to social media in praise of their governor for his well-planned fight against the coronavirus. No infections have yet been reported anywhere in Lampang.
"The success so far is because of trust and confidence in him to move the plan forward in one direction," a user named Ungde Amin commented on the Lampang13 Facebook page that posted an interview with governor Narongsak Osottanakorn on Sunday.
"He shows leadership and the measures are well prepared," Pun Pun wrote.
"I envy people in Lampang," added Wassana Wisassai.
The interview drew almost 3,000 comments and 57,000 shares on social media.
Mr Narongsak was known for his decisive command of the international operation to rescue 12 young footballers and their coach trapped inside the Tham Luang cave in Mae Sai district two years ago, when he was the governor of Chiang Rai. He was later transferred to Phayao and then Lampang.
Rescuers and others who participated in the cave operation in Chiang Rai have commended him for clear directions, decisiveness and leadership, saying he effectively coordinated all the units from various agencies under his command.
The country has recorded 1,651 coronavirus cases in 61 provinces as of Tuesday, but Lampang is not one of them.
The Provincial Public Health Office in Lampang on Tuesday denied reports on social media that one person in the province had been infected with Covid-19.
Wuhan alert
Mr Narongsak called an informal meeting with all officials in the province on Jan 23 when the Chinese government decided to lock down Wuhan, the epicentre of the virus at the time.
He said the lockdown of the Chinese city signalled the seriousness of the disease, and the province started preparing immediately. (Any other leader do this here?....NO!)
"We closely monitored the situation in Wuhan," the governor said in the interview with local online media.
The province has prepared medical facilities for health personnel and patients, including 140 respirators and 10 negative pressure rooms. It has assigned 50 hospital beds for virus-infected patients and could expand that number to 400.
"Health personnel are the most important group," he said. "If they fall ill, nobody will take care of people in the province."
The province has also made preparations in the field, recruiting health volunteers and villagers to respond to any outbreak in the province.
"We have designed the process to prepare for the situation and fine-tuned it with people on the ground," he said.
Power of cooperation
On March 18, the governor ordered all entertainment venues to close for 14 days in order to prevent virus transmission. Cooperation from all residents in the province was key to fight the virus, he said.
"People have to understand the situation. Some communities have told us that they will isolate themselves if one person is infected with the virus," he said.
The governor on Monday said he did not expect the province to remain virus-free but was confident that the preparations were adequate to take the local fight to the pandemic.
"We are confident our plan can cope with whatever happens," he said on the Facebook page of the Provincial Public Relations Office. "If we have only a few patients or none, it means people in this province can survive the crisis together."
Last year, when he attended the first anniversary of the Tham Luang Cave operation, he stressed the key to that success. "I want to remember the 18 days in which everyone displayed the power of cooperation,” he said.

Coincidentally I watched 'The Cave' this afternoon. The movie, not the documentary. Mostly actors and the names had been changed. I'm guessing that the Brits (who weren't featured much) refused to be involved and refused to allow their names to be used.This is the guy who ran the cave rescue. He should run for PM. Even Chano cha cha cha was played by an actor who did have a striking resemblance to the real one.

It will get worse before it gets better unfortunately.
I work for a "Global Company" (as I believe others on this Forum also do) - many lockdowns, some facilities closed, others on restrictions - our China facility (Qingdao) fully open and operating..... However, the LHG hears that things in China are far worse than said/admitted (she has a few more contacts than you or I).
Actually betting on a second outbreak in China with many in SE Asia still to experience the first.
