Robert Johnson told me Crossroads (before he sold hos soul to the devil)
You have it!!
BUT the 1986 version. Great movie, great (Blues) music - Steve (Stevie) Vai with an appearance (an absolute God for guitarists).
Truly worth a watch.

OK - This could well be too easy anyway....
Yeah right!!
[EDIT]
Steve Vai - Master guitarist! Not an actor, but makes an appearance in "The Duel" (at the end of the movie).
"Scratch" - The "Devil" who makes the deal at the Crossroads.
Deep South - Home of the "Blues"
Not a "Blues Man" then DM?

Can I do one?
I am not a move buff. But here goes, t's not a recent film.
1. Strauss
2. Fifth
3. Sand
More clues please. Without referring to IMDB, no idea who Strauss is.

Hang on - Sand. Wasn't he in a big movie set in Egypt or Israel or similar? Desert, 3 humped camels called Humphrey etc.? Still no idea of the name even if I'm close.
