I’ve just checked my last 10 deliveries - 3 were free shipping, so 7 had a shipping fee

The only consistency in Thailand is inconsistency - everyone has a different experience.

I was looking for a dartboard, which Lazada had for 1,950 + shipping.
Found one on this site, similar quality for 1,190 + free shipping.

Just shows that shopping around, even online, can offer huge savings. Its not the first time I've saved a chunk by not using Lazada.

Ah, OK I thought you had found an alternative with a similar range of products to Lazada - my misunderstanding.

I agree, on more expensive items, it certainly pays to shop around online.

Use 'priceza.com' .... and it will do the comparison shopping for you. Sometimes showing bettor prices on LAZ, then LAZ site itself. Also search Shopee & LAZ while on them. JD Central also shows up on 'priceza', as do other vendors, including overseas, AliExpress, etc.

Thanks laphanphon for the very useful information 😁😁🙏🙏

Is Lazada still good in lockdown? I used Amazon a lot here in Europe but the delivery times are getting longer by the day, I just got something today I ordered on the 12th April, before this it used to take about two days.
It's getting to the point where if you need something in a hurry, it might be quicker to wait for the shops to open again!

What I ordered from Lazada this morning it was advised to be delivered 2nd - 6th May. In the past they've often been ahead of the earlier date. Not ordered a lot recently but what we have appear to be delivered without delay.

No help for Lazada, but being a Prime Member of Amazon in Europe certainly helps Steve - I'm getting virtually next day delivery on many orders....... And of course "Prime Video".

On Lazada/Thailand, I do use a "comparison price site" in the UK which I can see similar available in Thailand (as posted on this thread). Certainly the one in the UK has saved me money, so surely worth a try in Thailand?

They are definitely slower during Covid. I've had to use the customer help line several times, and they have admitted to me suppliers are marking the order dispatched, when they are still waiting arrival of new stocks from China. The customer help line has actually advised me to order from a different supplier twice. IMHO their service since Covid has gone from Excellent to Poor.

Yes, deliveries are taking longer but that is to be expected with a curfew as the transport cannot run at night and people are forbidden from working.

To be honest, I think people are sat at home bored ordering stuff for something to do, which is understandable but remember some of us are still working and actually need things.

That shouldn't affect them. Transport of consumer goods are exempt from the curfew.

While I appreciate there maybe people on the forum that need some medication or other essential medical items that they buy from Lazada.
I for one, am making it my life's mission to NEVER buy from these people again.
I know that's not possible at the moment, because the world has been caught with its pants down for putting all it's eggs in one basket, but I'm looking to the future.
It's time people took a stand, and sent a message to the PRC, that after 4 attempts of causing catastrophic damage to the human race....enough is enough.
Manufacturing WILL be moving out of China....the Japanese have already started.
It's going to take time and I don't suppose it will all be moved out, but at least I hope we have learn't our lesson and realized the folly of putting all the eggs in one basket....particularly a basket that cannot ever be trusted to tell the truth, or be transparent.
Lying untrustworthy pigs....move on people.

Totally understand your principles and largely agree ... but where do you suggest shopping if you live hours away from any department stores, and do not want to pay double and wait weeks to have stuff shipped from the west?

I am having trouble getting a refund from Lazada. The money is sitting in what Lazada calls My Wallet, why I tried to withdraw it I got a message saying because I was non Thai I had to contact customer services first. When I tried both online and by phone I got no response. Has anybody had similar problems?
