As this is one of the sought after delicacies in Oz I though it deserved to be in Feeding Time.
My daughter was getting rid of a pile of grass cuttings and buried in the middle was about 3 dozen witchetti grubs. The only reason I recognised them was having seen them on "I'm a Celebrity, Get me Outta Here". I remember in the 'Bush Tucker Trials' they had to eat them alive after biting off the head and spitting it out.
These are quite big, the size of a large thumb. My 3 year old grandson is keen to eat them but no enthusiasm from anyone else.
Looking on google, they are sold in the markets, raw or bbq'd. I'm guessing it will be in the North.
I've never seen them in Thailand until now.
