Trailer Hitch

Post by migrant »

Hey all, looking for someone to install a trailer hitch. Would like an experienced place as I do not want to see my boat passing me on the road! Found a place in Sam Roi Et but far from me.

Thanks!

There is a place in Hua Hin just up from where Thansamai supermarket was on Phetkasem road before the palace. They are agents for one of the big Bangkok suppliers. If you want I can give better links and directions although their English language ability is not good.

If you could give me some directions/links I can have my wife talk to them. Thanks!!

The place is Phetsiam Auto on the corner of Soi 54/1 (shows on google maps). The shop fronts onto Phetkasem Road. I had bought a 2 inch hitch and installed it on my Terra but found that the ball fitting fouled the spare tyre and they shortened it so it still fitted safely. I was impressed because they could have just shortened it but also smoothed the cut edges and painted the bare metal. Not expensive either. They also do car stereos and all sorts of stuff.
The other side of the soi is a Cockpit tyre place which is easier to spot.
