I'm currently watching Sale kicking the Bear's arse. Bears are playing a very weakened side, The commentator keeps referring to various Bears players (not on show today), and the fact their minutes are up, To me that says players can only play so many games each season. Is this a new rule that I've never heard of, or is it just a silly phrase the commentator is confusing me with.
Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 2 Leeds Utd

Points 46; Position 23 RELEGATED

There's zero rule for player's time/"minutes up" - not sure where that comes from. Watched the same match... and the Bears indead had their arses kicked (as a Bath supporter, I'm not sad), so don't understand the commentary.

It's a nightmare at the moment with big games played days apart. The big thing is to finish in the top 4 and the "Play-offs" - Exeter being the favourite to take the title and deservedly so. However, a "top 4" finish means additional income, a chance at the title and (more income) with European Championship Rugby in 2021.

Bristol Bears are playing it as they will qualify in the top 4 by resting players..... Bath are also there!!
